'Deadpool 2' News Update: A Legend To Play ‘Cable’

"Deadpool 2" is highly anticipated film amongst the Marvel fans. The biggest question that is in the minds of the fans is who will play the role of the character cable. High speculation around this is doing rounds.

The most talked about aspect of "Deadpool 2" is the casting for the time traveling mutant. There are quite a few possibilities. However, there are rumors that a legend will be taking up that role eventually as stated by the producer Simon Kinberg.

The post-credits scene of the "Deadpool" already revealed that Cable will appear in "Deadpool 2." Wade Wilson pondered about a lot of actors who could take up the role of the mutant in "Deadpool 2." His list included Mel Gibson, Dolph Lundgren and Keira Knightly (well...).

Simon Kinberg confirmed that he has heard the reports of the names of the actors who could play the role of Cable in "Deadpool 2." "I've seen rumors from about everybody from Arnold Schwarzenegger to... I can't even remember," Kindberg told. The producer went on to admit that they haven't yet decided the perfect actor who could play the role of Cable in "Deadpool 2."

The producer confessed that they have not cast a star as yet. There are rumors that "Deadpool 2" waiting for Stephen Lang to become available to play Cable, reported IGN.

The "Avatar 2" actor Stephen Lang has already expressed his interest to play Cable. It does not matter to him if it "Deadpool 2" or the rumored "X Force" film. It is speculated that the team of "Deadpool 2" is waiting for Stephen Lang to finish filming his current assignment, reported Comic Book Resources.
