California Autism Boy Receives Birthday Cards Requested On Air, Now They Pouring In!

Big Bear California- After having ABC7 air her son's request for birthday cards on his birthday, letters and packages poured in. Truly when it rains, it pours. Lori Fritzinger and autistic son Ryan are both happy and enjoying the moment.

Ryan, according to Lori, is troubled with making friends. And when the cards came in, she said that the sparkle in her son's eyes were just magical. The joy did not just end there. The community came together to giver Ryan a party during his birthday. The party gave him many surprises including the Star Wars stormtroopers and free Legoland trip.

What a wonderful world it is to see people uniting to cheer up a little boy on the spectrum. This is pure joy not just for him but for his mother as well , seeing her son who used to feel the odd one out and now is gaining friends, receiving a surprise party from friends and even from people they do not know as well. it is all awesome.

"This is the happiest I've ever seen him in three years," Lori said. What a gift not just to Ryan but for her as well, after the many years of searching for his son's happiness.

Kids like Ryan have special needs and when these needs are not met, the first person who gets hurt is the mother. People may not have idea how the moment has made Lori so glad. It is great to know that there are compassionate hearts around the world who are ready to express their love for special kids.

Kids with autism are special and may look different in the outside, but they are also very normal in many aspects. Their senses may be out of sync but they are concrete thinkers most of the time. They interpret language literally and are mostly visually oriented. Like anyone else in the world, they also long to be loved unconditionally.
