Bookworms and "Game of Thrones" fans alike continue to scour the internet for more information about "The Winds of Winter" release date. The sixth novel in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series continues to be in development with limited information disclosed to the public.
Author George R.R. Martin has recently shared that he's not fond of disclosing his process of writing until his work is done. This leaves fans waiting for "The Winds of Winter" release date in the shadows.
In a recent interview with The Verge, one of the web's most popular "ASIOAF" theorist dished on what events could transpire in Martin's sixth novel. Brynden B Fish also shared his thoughts about "The Winds of Winter" release date.
When asked about a possible Jon Snow and Dany romance brewing in the books, the theorist claimed that it could be highly possible. However, he did not discount the fact that Jon might also kill the Mother of Dragons in "The Winds of Winter."
"If he is Azor Ahai reborn," he noted. "Azor Ahai, in the original story, plunged a sword into the heart of his wife, killing her, in order to forge this blade to defeat... probably the Others."
When it comes to the highly talked about "The Winds of Winter" release date, Brynden B speculated that a 2017 launch is highly likely at this point. He then continued to say that the real issue would not be when the book will come out, but if it will be as good as fans expect it to be.
