'Rick and Morty' Season 3 Latest News, Air Date & Spoilers: Adult Swim Releases Mini-Episode; Morty Dies And Rick Announces New Movie

Just a couple more months and we will finally see "Rick and Morty" again. With "Rick and Morty" Season 3 just around the corner, creators of the sci-fi cartoon just released a mini-episode that will make you even more excited with the antics of the duo.

The video showcases Justin Roiland, Dan Harmon, Spencer Grammer and Ryan Ridley, Adult Swim creators of "Rick and Morty" Season 3. Spencer Grammer playing Summer Smith asks Justin Roiland who plays both Rick and Morty about her college application process. Rick who was more focused on an experiment into Morty's knees in which he will inject 120 cc's of feces into his knees then replaces Morty's legs with jet packs.

Summer who was also applying at Harvard got in with a full scholarship because of Rick's successful experiment on Morty. Then the cast narrates the process of Summer's college experience that includes getting a diploma and shooting John Lennon.

After her graduation, she returns home and finds out that Morty is dead and that Rick replaced him with a floating Morty eyelash in the garage. Then, a cow-headed demon named Nebutron came into the garage and eyelash Morty fights him off. When Nebutron made a wish and blew off eyelash Morty, the garage went into outer space, then Rick says, "Oh my god, this is the beginning of the Rick and Morty movieee!"

While the "Rick and Morty" mini-episode is a bit strange even for the creators but watching the team creating a mini-episode before the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is really fun to watch. This also made us want to anticipate the upcoming third season even more.

The "Rick and Morty" mini-episode also showed viewers how "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is being made and probably how the other seasons of "Rick and Morty" was also made. Rather than focusing on the scripts the cast of Adult Swim is mostly comfortable doing retro scripting where they mostly improvise the dialogues.

With "Rick and Morty" Season 3 coming soon and Justin Roiland possibly even thinking of a movie, the stroke of genius the cast does when creating their episodes are really something to watch for. "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will air before the year ends so make sure to stay tune for more "Rick and Morty" news.
