'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Spoilers, Latest News & Update: Could Michonne Leave Rick Grimes For Ezekiel?

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere brings on major uncertainties, foremost for Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) and Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun). However, Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) are no safer due to the havoc that Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) began to wreak in "The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale.

Although Michonne and Rick Grimes getting together had been one of the newsmakers in "The Walking Dead" Season 6, Richonne may not survive Negan and "TWD" S7. One of the most talked about possibilities for "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is Rick Grimes going off the edge as a fallout from the "TWD" S7 premiere as Parent Herald cites.

  Toeing the line between heroism and villainy, Rick Grimes may eventually push Michonne away, bringing an end to the Richonne that was born of "The Walking Dead" Season 6. Interestingly, key character Ezekiel (Khary Payton) of The Kingdom will surface in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.

ComicBook points out that Robert Kirkman wrote Michonne and Ezekiel as lovers in "The Walking Dead" comics. The media outlet proposes that Sasha Williams (Sonequa Martin-Green) will take the place of Michonne beside Ezekiel in The Kingdom given Rick Grimes and Richonne.

This assumes that Sasha Williams loses Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) either in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere or in subsequent tragedies awaiting the Alexandria survivors. Possibly, though, Michonne and not Sasha Williams will be joining Ezekiel and The Kingdom in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.
