'GTA 6' Release Date, News & Update: Title Coming Soon With VR Feature?

"GTA" fans have been clamoring for the next installment of the "GTA" franchise. It's almost three years since "GTA 5" is released and players are now looking for another set of adventures and challenges in "GTA 6." According to reports, "GTA 6" is coming out soon and might arrive with a full VR support.

According to Neurogadget, after the success of the previous "GTA" installments, Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games are working on new materials for "GTA 6." Reports have it that the title might arrive next year. However, Vine Report suggested that there are also rumors claiming that "GTA 6" will not be ready until 2020.

At the time "GTA" fans are very excited for the upcoming GamesCon 2016. Parent Herald previously reported that Take-Two Interactive will have big announcements on the said event. Hopefully, it will include the release date of "GTA 6."

Aside from the anticipated release date of "GTA 6," some sources claim that the upcoming game will include a VR support. Virtual reality is the new trend in video games and some sources are hopeful that Rockstar Games will also apply this in "GTA 6."

If reports are true that "GTA 6" is in VR development, then for sure this will make the gameplay more fun and exciting. A VR "GTA 6" will enable the player to experience a more realistic gameplay. In addition, it also offers an entirely new environment that is enough to tickle every "GTA" fan.

On a side note, Parent Herald previously reported that "GTA 6" will be set in the past with a vintage theme. According to reports, "GTA 6" will be set in London. If the title is set in England London, there will be a huge change in the gameplay. Players will be required to drive on the right -side of the car as this is the normal set up in the UK. Thus, "GTA" fans can expect newly designed cars in the upcoming game.

There are also rumors that "GTA 6" will be equipped with a grand world map. FabNewz reported that the world map will allow the users to travel in any part of the world. This particular feature is one of Rockstar's grandest ambitions in the "GTA" series.
