New ‘James Bond’ Has Theo James, Tom Hiddleston, Aidan Turner Vying With Chris Hemsworth For 007 Role? Thor Vs Loki Again?

The new James Bond role becomes more competitive with "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth hinting he wants what Theo James, Tom Hiddleston and Aidan Turner want. Could the new James Bond casting see Thor versus Loki once more as screen brothers Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston join the wider competition to woo the attention of Barbara Broccoli to be MI6 star agent 007?

The Daily Telegraph reports that Chris Hemsworth has joined the line of actors, which includes Tom Hiddleston, who revealed their interest in becoming the new James Bond after Daniel Craig retires. Chris Hemsworth did admit to Foxtel magazine as The Daily Mail cites that becoming the new James Bond is a scary role, but philosophizes that it wouldn't be the only daunting thing in life.

  Chris Hemsworth stated that he recognizes the new James Bond role is one that 007 candidates as Theo James, Tom Hiddleston and Aidan Turner would jump at. At the moment Tom Hiddleston and Aidan Turner are not the only actors highly buzzed about replacing Daniel Craig as the new James Bond, but also James Houston and Jack Norton.

The Daily Telegraph points out that if Chris Hemsworth wins out over Theo James, Tom Hiddleston, Aidan Turner, James Houston and Jack Norton, he would be the second Australian actor to be cast as James Bond. The first time was reportedly in 1969 when George Lazenby was cast as James Bond in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service."

To be sure, producer Barbara Broccoli is not short on choices for the next James Bond film.The Daily Mail recalls that even David Beckham had once been buzzed into the competition to replace Daniel Craig as the new James Bond.

So are "Fifty Shades Of Grey" star Jamie Dornan, new "Game Of Thrones" king Kit Harington, and "X-Men" actor Nicholas Hoult contending names for the new James Bond film according to The Daily Telegraph.
