Protect Your Tech-Addicted Kids From The Dangers They Fail To See

Einstein once said that a generation of idiots will rise up because of technology. Perhaps that generation is in the present age. This is because no matter how intelligent you are, you become ironically dumb because of the control of tech gadgets in your hand has over you.

The sad thing about the rising of "idiotic human robots"  today is how kids become more and more controlled by technology. They do not have healthy relationships with family and friends anymore.

Gadgets can be really addictive and can cause low grades and inability to sleep on time. Sleep deprivation is critical for young people as brain development becomes crucial at this stage. The inability to think well and the decline of memory early in life is a great loss i their future. The bad thing about it too is what most parents complain about today is how kids become so unaware of what is happening around them because of too much focus on their smartphones, tablets, or laptops.

Danger can be right at your doorstep if your kids are too focused on the gadgets, renders them unaware that people with bad intentions may just break into your house.. And also, if they have that habit of having their tech gadgets as their focal point, they can easily get hit by a car walking unaware in the street.

To help tech-addicted children these days, it is important to understand how their attention can be redirected to other worthwhile things. Parents should be able to discipline kids and not tolerate them to rely on gadgets too much. Time for gadgets should be limited and make homeworks their priority. You can also set an "open door policy" where kids will not be tempted to lock themselves in and that you can check them from time to time while in the room.

Above all, invest quality time for the whole family that the kids will have the heart to set aside their gadgets because the happiness that they get from the family is irreplaceable by anything in the world.
