‘General Hospital’ Spoilers, News & Updates: Wally Kurth, Bradford Anderson Come Back to Port Charles; Genie Francis Leaves?

Latest news about "General Hospital" reveal the return of Wally Kurth and Bradford Anderson to the daytime show. Meanwhile, Genie Francis won't be around for a while. Is she leaving GH?

Wally Kurth is reprising his role as Ned Ashton on "General Hospital," and he is expected to appear this September, Soaps.com reported. Ashton was last seen in Port Charles back in March to visit his mother, Tracy, at the hospital when she was having a brain issue. While his storyline is kept under the wrap, speculations have it that he might return to iron things out with Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero). His gig in GH sparked rumors that he is leaving "Days of Our Lives," but the actor assured that he is staying in Salem too and that he will do both roles.

The entertainment website also shared that Brandon Anderson is coming back for a couple of episodes, which will begin next week, Sept. 2. His character, Damian Spinelli, briefly made an appearance last June, but it looks like Port Charles have some needs from the geek hacker.

Spoilers from Celebrity Dirty Laundry tease that Spinelli will be involved in three possible storylines in "General Hospital." First is that he is likely to be the best man in Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Sam Morgan's (Kelly Monaco) wedding. Maxie will also need someone to lean on after her relationship with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) fell apart. As a former lover and best friend, this is a perfect time for Spinelli to show Maxie that he will always be there for her. Finally, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had asked for Spinelli to dig information regarding Josslyn Jacks' (Eden McCoy) kidney donor, Spinelli might have already found something that he needs to deliver in person.

Meanwhile, Soaps.com also reported that Genie Francis will be out of the "General Hospital" canvas in the comings. But worry not, Laura Spencer will be right back in late September.

You can catch "General Hospital" every Monday to Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
