Chris Brown Could Lose Custody Over One-Year-Old Daughter Royalty After Felony Assault Allegations

R&B singer Chris Brown could reportedly lose the custody over his one-year-old daughter, Royalty, with Nia Guzman after his stand-off with police officials and after being charged with felony assault. The reported victim also spoke out against her bashers saying that she does not see why Brown is being defended and she is being bashed.

In a report by Hollywood Life, Guzman could reportedly ask a judge now to adjust the custody of Royalty due to the headlines he is being linked to now. Father's Rights Attorney David Pisarra said in a statement that the fact he was arrested, he might no longer retain any type of custody over Royalty and if alcohol and drugs would be involved, it would make things worse for the singer.

Pisarra added in a statement, "The stand-off with the police could imply mental health issues. A lawyer could argue that Chris was attempting suicide by cop when he was taunting the police, especially given the current social climate." It could be remembered that Brown took to his Instagram page to rant about the officials who were outside his home during that time. He said that they always find something new about him even if he is keeping things on the low and is not doing anything wrong.

The Father's Rights Attorney added that even if the supposed victim, 25-year-old Baylee Curran, would withdraw the charges against Brown, it would still affect the custody of Royalty. However, if Curran pushes through and if guns were found in the household, he would be deemed unstable regarding pulling guns on people and using drugs. He reportedly pointed a gun at Curran. This might result to Brown being limited regarding his custody and visitation for a long time. Until a mental health professional will explain what is going on with Brown, Royalty will have to stay with her mother.

Brown has been released from jail after posting a $250,000 bond. The victim recently talked with E! News' Ken Baker and said that she has hung out with Brown several times before. However, he reportedly pointed a gun at her after she was seen admiring some jewelry. She said that she believes Brown's finger was on the trigger and the gun was pointed at her face.

Curran said that she does not know why people believe Brown is the victim and that they think she is doing all of this for publicity. She then encouraged Brown to just come forward and tell the truth.
