"Sense8" Season 2 cancellation rumors are filling up the web after several reports claimed that the Netflix sci-fi drama is ending due to casting issues. One actor from the Wachowski-led series speaks up and addresses rumors about the show's cancellation on air. Is it time to say goodbye to the Sensates?

"Sense8" Season 2 is rumored to be canceled because of several behind-the-scenes dramas involving the show's cast and crew. Several reports suggested that new cast member, Sikander Kher, was the reason behind the alleged cancellation.

According to reports, Kher was allegedly demanding for a higher pay in order to continue with his role in "Sense8" Season 2. Kher will be joining the cast in the upcoming season, but the details of his role remain unclear aside from the fact that his character is a small but important one.

The aforementioned claims on "Sense8" Season 2 cancellation are not true, as Kher recently told Mid Day that he is not in the position to determine the future of the show, reports BizAsia. Kher insisted that his role in the upcoming season of the sci-fi drama is a "very small" one so it is very unlikely that the show will get canceled because of him.

One of the reasons behind the rumored cancellation of "Sense8" Season 2 is the departure of Lily Wachowski from the production. There were speculations that Lily dropped out in the middle of production, but Michael Straczynski told Awards Daily that Lily wrapped up everything before leaving the show.

Straczynski stated that Lily had to leave "Sense8" Season 2 because she needed time for herself after coming out as a transgender. However, this did not, in any way, affect the show's production at all.
