Philadelphia 76ers has a surplus of big men so they decided to trade one of them. Reports have it that the team is trading either Nerlens Noel or Jahlil Okafor. Since then, the players are linked to several teams in the NBA league, including New York Knicks. Is New York Knicks getting the two players?

Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor are two of the promising basketball players in the NBA league today. At their age, they can still improve a lot over the years. Noel is the sixth overall NBA draft in 2013. Meanwhile, Okafor is the third overall draft in 2015.

The pair showed a great tandem while playing for Philadelphia 76ers in the last NBA season. However, Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel could be playing for different teams this NBA season or maybe they could still be playing for the same team but not with Philadelphia 76ers. He is a good finisher around the rim but still needs to improve his jump shots. The report suggests that Nerlens Noel would be a great backup or substitute for Joakim Noah because he has a similar gameplay with the two-time NBA All-Star

Meanwhile, in a separate report from Sports Blog, New York Knicks is also looking for a way to trade for Jahlil Okafor. The report suggests that New York Knicks need to accumulate more talents like Okafor. Philadelphia 76ers will likely offer the center at a discounted price because they have nowhere to play him.

Jahlil Okafor is a great scorer and would be a great tandem for Kristaps Porzingis in the front court in the future. The two players will complement each other because Porzingis is great at shooting from the outside while Okafor works well in the post.
