'Fifty Shades' Sequel In Jeopardy As Lead Actor Jamie Dornan Admits to Quitting 'Fifty Shades Darker'

Jamie Dornan opens up about his role as Christian Grey for the "Fifty Shades" franchise. A report from CelebDirty Laundry cited that Jamie Dornan is bound to quit his role as the iconic Christian Grey as it is starting to define him as an actor.

Jamie Dornan replaced Charlie Hunnam as Christian Grey for "Fifty Shades of Grey." The website then added that Jamie Dornan allegedly ruined his career after taking on the role, it was mentioned that it was actually a wise move for Charlie Hunnam to pass on the project as it can possibly ruin his acting career.

It was then added that Jamie Dornan went through mockery and ridicule for his "50 Shades" role. It was then added that the film, which was slammed by critics as it was referred to "mommy porn." Jamie Dornan made it clear that his role as Christian Grey is nothing but a job, like most actors, Jamie Dornan explained that he is basically doing the role for the paycheck.

"It can be, but that's just one job." Jamie Dornan told The Morning as reported by CDL. "To me or any actor that is involved in any franchise, it is just another job and you move on to the next thing."

Though the report did not shed light on his exit, as it was just a speculation, a report from People highlighted that Jamie is basically enthusiastic for his Christian Grey role. Jamie Dornan has yet to comment on the issue as to whether he would continue to work with the "Fifty Shades" series, or he'll eventually walk out.

"Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film," the rep told People Magazine.
