NBA Trade Rumors: Cleveland Cavaliers Trading For Kings' DeMarcus Cousins Dropping Kevin Love In The Roster?

Cleveland Cavaliers is feeling the pressure of strengthening their roster for the upcoming NBA league. Their closest contender to the NBA finals, the Golden State Warriors have the best lineup in the NBA league today. According to reports, to improve Cavs roster, they are trading for DeMarcus Cousins and are willing to part ways with Kevin Love.

Yes, we heard it several times already that Cleveland Cavaliers are not broken and need not fixing. They want to keep the same players that deliver them its first NBA title. However, their power forward, Kevin Love has become a regular in the NBA trade rumor mills, which always suggest that Love is parting ways with Cavs.

According to the Sports Daily, Cleveland Cavaliers are swapping big men with Sacramento Kings. The deal could include Kevin Love and DeMarcus Cousins. The potential Cavs-Kings deal will benefit both teams but not both players.

DeMarcus Cousins trade market value is high. He averaged 27 points and 12 rebounds. In addition, Boogie just won earned a gold medal in the Rio Olympics.

Meanwhile, Kevin Love's figures dropped when he joined Cleveland Cavaliers compared to his stats when he was still with Minnesota Timberwolves. Love averaged 19 points and 12 rebounds when he was still with the T-wolves but when he joined Cavs he just averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Per the report, DeMarcus Cousins has attitude problems. He is emotional and putting him to a title contender like Cavs may only bring the hustle side of him, which many see in the Olympics. This will not do good to him.

Meanwhile, Kevin Love's move to Sacramento Kings will not be good for his NBA career. Kings will likely add more to their payroll, lose their superstar DeMarcus Cousins and perhaps, deal with an angry Love. Love has already moved up in the food chain but will be doing it again if he joins Kings.

Also, there are rumors that Sacramento Kings are trading DeMarcus Cousins for Kyrie Irving and not Kevin Love. If Kings push this, it is unlikely to make a deal with Cavs, we know that Irving is a great asset to the team and Cleveland Cavaliers will not put him on the trading block. Not now that they are up for another NBA title.
