NBA Trade Rumors: Draymond Green The Most Versatile Player In GSW But Warriors Trading Him For Pelicans' Anthony Davis?

Golden State Warriors have an ideal roster in the NBA league today. Many are rooting for the team to win their next NBA title this season. However, some reports suggest that the Warriors' most versatile player, Draymond Green will be traded to New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for Anthony Davis.

The Warriors are geared with four NBA All-Star this season including Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant. However, among the four, Bleacher Report thinks that Green is the most versatile player to enter the NBA 2016-17 training camp.

According to the report, Draymond Green averaged 7.4 assists and 9.5 rebounds per game. He also achieved 38.8 percent shots from three-point range while defending five positions. Green has the preternatural help instincts on defense.

Draymond Green was a gold medalist and was second in Defensive Player of the Year voting for two consecutive years. However, other than these facts, Draymond Green is limited.

Despite Draymond Green's skills and potentials, the player is still dragged into the NBA trade rumor mills. According to Real GM, New Orleans Pelicans' Anthony Davis is cleared to play again this NBA season. The Pelicans' point guard and center player underwent a knee surgery almost six months ago. He has been limited to play in his first four NBA seasons due to the various injuries he incurred.

Per iTechPost, Golden State Warriors is taking this opportunity to sign Anthony Davis. ESPN, suggested that the Warriors could trade Draymond Green and Shaun Livingston for Anthony Davis.

However, Sports Rageous doesn't agree that the trade is the best deal for the New Orleans Pelicans. The report notes that Pelicans can find another better trade from other teams. However, trading Anthony Davis might be in talks if Pelicans continue to struggle this NBA season.

Is Golden State Warriors considering in trading Draymond Green and Shaun Livingston for Pelicans' Anthony Davis? Do you agree that this deal isn't the best one for the New Orleans? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
