‘The Walking Dead' Season 7 Release Date, News Update: Will Daryl, Carol Romance Compete With ‘Richonne’ In S7?

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 may yet be the darkest run for the AMC series but Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) may lend it some light with 'Caryl,' competing with Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) 'Richonne.' Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) can wreak what havoc he must in "The Walking Dead" Season 7, but Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier fans may have reason to rejoice.

To be sure Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride had always shared a special onscreen chemistry as Daryl and Carol in "The Walking Dead." Their friendship and support for each other through the trials and tragedies of "The Walking Dead" series have not gone unnoticed especially among fans of Daryl and Carol.

Refinery 29 tackles the question of when Carol and Daryl will finally happen and if "The Walking Dead" Season 7 would have some airtime for "Caryl." The media outlet cites Melissa McBride in an interview with Comicbook where "The Walking Dead" star says Carol has a few things to deal with to be in a place for love.

While Daryl and Carol may not seem to be going full blown "Caryl" immediately, it doesn't sound like "The Walking Dead" fans will never get to see their romance get off the ground. "The Walking Dead" Season 7 will be too heartbreaking and maybe, just maybe, Daryl and Carol could realize that life's too short not to give "Caryl" a chance.

Parent Herald cites reports which project a tragic double exit by Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere. "TWD" fans have been anticipating the Glenn Rhee and Maggie Greene deaths with dread when "The Walking Dead" arrives.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere is scheduled to air on NBC on Oct 9. Are you a Caryl shipper or do you think Carol and Daryl should just stay friends especially after "The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere?
