NBA Trade Rumors: Golden State Warriors And Cleveland Cavaliers To Swap Andre Iguodala And Iman Shumpert?

Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers had a face off in the NBA finals in the past two years. Many believe that both teams will meet again this season for their next battle for the NBA title. However, did it ever occur to you that the two NBA contenders will be swapping their players?

It might sound unlikely but according to NBA trade rumors, Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers might swap their shooting guards Andre Iguodala and Iman Shumpert. Is this possible?

According to the Inscriber Mag, there are rumors that Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers are in talks about a potential swap involving Andre Iguodala and Iman Shumpert. The report itself finds this rumor unbelievable, not only because both come from competing teams but because Iguodala is another key player in Warriors' second unit.

Andre Iguodala is an NBA All-Star and an NBA Finals MVP two seasons ago. The Warriors' shooting guard is also the leader in GSW's second unit. Andre Iguodala is a versatile player, who is skilled in playing both small forward and shooting guard positions without sweat. Thus, it seems unlikely for the Warriors to trade him.

Meanwhile, Iman Shumpert has never been an NBA All-Star. Also, the player has been in a bad light for alleged DUI charges. According to reports, Cleveland Cavaliers are more determined to kick Shumpert out of their roster.

Parent Herald previously reported that Cavs is trading Iman Shumpert to Memphis Grizzlies for Vince Carter and Brandan Wright. Iman Shumpert is also linked to Philadelphia 76ers. In a separate report, Cleveland Cavaliers is planning to acquire the Sixers' center Nerlens Noel by trading Shumpert.

How do you find this Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers trade involving Iman Shumpert and Andre Iguodala? Is this reasonable? Will GSW trade Iguodala for Shumpert? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
