"Grimm" season 6 will be the last in the series after NBC announced that the last season is airing early next year. "Grimm" fans were brokenhearted and disappointed. However, according to reports, the petition to continue the "Grimm" series has received a huge support. Will this convince NBC to renew the series?

Parent Herald previously reported that "Grimm" Season 6 is the last in the popular NBC series because the network has finally decided to ax the show. However, according to iTech Post, the cancellation of "Grimm" was not a surprise to many but it still leaves the fans devastated.

When NBC announced that they are cutting down the number of episodes of "Grimm" Season 6 to 13 episodes from the usual 22 episodes, many took it as a hint that the series is doomed. However, when NBC confirmed that "Grimm" is ending, fans didn't take it lightly.

"Grimm" fans and enthusiasts created a petition for Netflix to continue the series. At the time, the petition already earned nearly 7,000 signatures and based on the comments "Grimm" fans and supporters are so into the TV series because of its unique plot.

Another petition for the TV series is raised requesting TNT to pick up the show after "Grimm" Season 6. According to the petitioner, "Grimm" is the best TV series in the universe with over hundreds of million viewers all over the world. "Grimm" deserves at least 10 seasons, that's why fans find it hard to accept that the series is ending in its sixth season.

"Grimm" fans want more of the series and they could possibly get what they want if Netflix or TNT adopts the series after "Grimm" Season 6 or if NBC changes its mind. According to iTech Post, the petition to continue the TV series has received an impressive support that NBC might change its mind and renew the series for another season.
