'Metal Gear Survive' Will See Characters Down Wormholes With Mutated Creatures; 2016 Tokyo Game Show Reveals

"Metal Gear Survive" fans are going to experience an exciting journey. They players can see their favorite characters being sucked into the wormholes. After this, they are brought to a much distorted terrain filled with biologically mutated creatures. The "Metal Gear Survive" players must then coordinate with each other and try to survive the hostile environment in the unknown terrain. Sounds interesting?

"Metal Gear Survive" trailer was released on Sept. 17 at the Tokyo Game Show 2016. It was revealed by the game developer Konami earlier, that the "Metal Gear Survive" series will get an all new perspective in the upcoming titles. It is expected that the upgrade for "Metal Game Survive" that is just released will live up to the expectations.

Konami has released the news about "Metal Gear Survive" in August 2016. The company had promised that they will release more things about the game at the Tokyo Game Show back then. This tweaked the anticipation and the fans were eagerly waiting for the new trailer that was released recently, reported News Everyday.

"Metal Gear Survive" is a four player co-op. The development of the title was based on the previous title "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain." However, the "Metal Gear Survive" has taken giant leaps and is one of the most sought out games in the series, reported The Tech 52.

"Metal Gear Survive" is set at an alternate timeline. It continues the narrative in the original series. The new "Metal Gear Survive" has brought in a variety of new elements like the massive wormholes in the sky. However, some fans were a tad bit disappointed as the game did not provide any explanation about the gravitational abnormalities.

Hideo Kojima was the creator of "Metal Gear Solid" and he left Konami in 2015. It was rumored that it was Kojima who developed "Metal Gear Survive." These speculations were doused when Kojima clarified in an interview that the game was not his idea. He said with reference to the use of zombies in the game. He went ahead and also stated that if he was the creator of the game then there would be more mechs in it.

"Metal Gear Survive" is set to release on Xbox One, PS4 and the PC in 2017. "Metal Gear Survive" will be offered for $30.
