Parenting Tips: Single Men In Japan Learn Parenting In Order To Find Love

There is a new course for men in Japan in order to not only help them gain a chance in finding the right mate but to also help them understand more what it is like to be a parent. A course called "ikumen" has become a fad in Japan since it started making some noise online on Sept. 20.

In an article published by Reuters, Japanese men who are looking to settle down are now finding new ways to make them even more desirable to the females. One of these is learning how to take care of a baby and other basic parenting skills. The school responsible for this project is Ikumen University, which is located in Osaka.

What do these bachelors could expect after paying for the said course? First, is that they would learn what it feels like to be pregnant. They will be given a pregnancy jacket that weighs about 15 pounds in order to get that exact feeling of carrying a baby in the womb. They are also taught how to interact with their future wife.

The institution promised a certificate for each bachelor who would complete the course according to a report by AOL News. It is impossible for them not to finish it anyway since the class only takes one day to complete. The course fee is around $294, and enrollees have to be in the class for one whole day. The teacher told the media that their class would help men in achieving some extra points for women to be attracted to them since they would be seen as someone responsible and serious about marriage.

Would you suggest for this course to take place in America? Tell us if this is a good idea not just for men to be more attractive, but for them to actually know how it feels to be a parent before they jump into a relationship.
