Maksim Chmerkovskiy Shares What Peta Murgatroyd Has Gone Through During Early Weeks of Pregnancy

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd already have a little dancer on the way! After Monday's episode of the show "Dancing With the Stars," Chmerkovskiy, 36 year-old, gave an update on the 30-year-old Murgatroyd's discomforts and worries during first pregnancy.

Chmerkovskiy told the reporters backstage of the show "Dancing With the Stars" that his fiancée has experienced normal pregnancy discomfort during her first pregnancy. It includes morning sickness and cravings and bigger body parts. He ensured, though, that he did all his best to ease and calm the nerves of his fiancée.

"For the longest time, [Peta] was, like, 'The body parts are getting bigger!' Or she would have morning sickness - we got lucky and she never really threw up, but she felt yucky - and she would say, 'What's wrong with me?'" Chmerkovskiy told People. "I would tell her, 'We know exactly what it is. You're pregnant and congratulations,'" he added.

According to People, Chmerkovskiy also revealed: "She doesn't have cravings of Burger King and McDonald's." Peta rather has cravings of five-star restaurants and grass-feed organic kobe beef, he continued.

Besides those pregnancy nerves, as per UPI, Chmerkovskiy also revealed that Peta is an "independent" mother-to-be. "Peta's a strong sort of independent character," Chmerkovskiy said on the report. "But it's not like, 'Oh, I want this and I want that.' She doesn't voice her needs like that. She's like, 'Just surprise me with spoils,'" he continued.

Meanwhile, Peta Murgatroyd shared also to People that she's looking forward to cherishing something and just have the baby be the center of their world. She added, "I'm looking forward to putting all our energy into this beautiful soul."

The dance duo got engaged last December 2015 and last May. Peta Murgatroyd confirmed that she's pregnant with Chmerkovskiy's baby three months ago. The gender of the baby is not yet confirmed.
