NBA Trade Rumors: GSW Competing With Cleveland Cavaliers In Signing Josh Smith?

Many believe that Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will meet again in the NBA finals for the third time. At the time, the two NBA contenders are working hard to upgrade their roster and reports have it that both teams want to sign Josh Smith.

According to Chatt Sports Net, Golden State Warriors are still looking for a player to fill their remaining spot. Reports have it that the Warriors are eyeing the free agent Josh Smith as the veteran will likely help them achieve their goal, which is to take home the NBA title this season.

Josh Smith will provide the Warriors with impressive on-court offensive and defensive skills. Aside from this, Josh Smith is efficient in shooting three-points, rebounding and blocking shots. This will give GSW an edge and make winning even harder for the Cavs.

However, Parent Herald previously reported that Cleveland Cavaliers is also eyeing Josh Smith. Cavs is still working on upgrading their roster and is planning to sign Josh Smith. Smith a.k.a. J-Smoove is fast and can jump passing lanes or big men efficiently.

At the time, Cleveland Cavaliers is still working on re-signing J.R. Smith and some sources suggest that they try another Smith. Giving on to J.R. Smith's demand might not be practical at all if they can't guarantee victory in the finals. Cavs chances to win against the Warriors are undeniably slim this time after the NBA All-Star Kevin Durant signed with the Warriors.

Mobile & Apps added that Josh Smith will likely join Golden State Warriors too because the team is the top contender in the NBA league. GSW is equipped with its power quartet, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green. Who doesn't want to play alongside these NBA superstars anyway?
