NBA Trade Rumors: GSW Trading Klay Thompson And Andre Iguodala To Nuggets For Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried And Gary Harris?

For those following the news this NBA offseason, one of the breaking new was Kevin Durant's signing with Golden State Warriors. Unfortunately, acquiring such a big name comes with a huge exchange. A number of Warriors are dragged into the NBA trade rumor mills. The recent reports suggest that Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala are heading to Denver Nuggets.

At the time, Golden State Warriors have the best roster in the NBA league for the upcoming season. The team has played for the NBA finals for two consecutive years against Cleveland Cavaliers and won their first face off.

Last NBA season, Cavs won but the Warriors gave them a tough fight. With Kevin Durant joining Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers chances of getting a back-to-back NBA title are slim. However, will the Warriors be able to maintain its lineup?

Of course, maintaining the four NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green would be expensive for the Warriors. Then, there's Andre Iguodala who is also an NBA All-Star and NBA Finals MVP.

More likely, Golden State Warriors will be parting ways with some of their big players and reports have it that Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala could be wearing another jersey soon. In fact, Iguodala is already rumored  to be traded to Cleveland Cavaliers' Iman Shumpert.

According to Nugg Love, GSW and Nuggets could do a trade involving Thompson, Iguodala, Kenneth Faried, Wilson Chandler and Garry Harris. In this trade, Warriors would have to let go of one of its Splash Brothers but the team will benefit it.

A Klay Thompson and Gary Harris might sound ridiculous but with Kevin Durant with the Warriors and Harris' improved skills the young player would make a good fit in GSW. Harris could fill Thompson's void that is diminished by Durant's presence.

Meanwhile, Kenneth Faried and Wilson Chandler could improve GSW's bench. On the other hand, Andre Iguodala could replace Chandler's bench position.

This trade would break Klay Thompson's heart because parting ways with Golden State Warriors will never be easy. However, this is a huge opportunity for Thompson to build his name again and swing the team to the right direction. If he stays with GSW, he will always be Stephen Curry's backup and now Kevin Durant's shadow.
