'Limitless' Season 2 Says Goodbye To Hope But May Be Back Soon Just Like 'Prison Break'

Fans have been doing everything they can for "Limitless" Season 2. They have already made petitions and stalk Craig Sweeney to give them updates about the production for the second season but their voices just went on deaf ears.

While "Limitless" has had a great run for its first season but because of its unstable ratings from its first episode until its finale, CBS finally pull the plugged on them. However, questions regarding the cancellation of the show was also seen by many of its followers since they know there is more story to tell for "Limitless" Season 2.

Craig Sweeney even mentioned the synopsis for "Limitless" Season 2 but was interrupted because of its abrupt cancellation. They were even questioning why "Criminal Minds" was given a new season while "Supergirl" was taken by CW and no one took "Limitless" and give the show its second season.

While CBS confirmed that the cancellation of "Limitless" Season 2 was normal for shows that only started its first season to also give way to new shows that will start with them but they did confirm that they were trying to pitch "Limitless" Season 2 to other networks.

"Limitless" can now be watched on Netflix which gave fans some hope that "Limitless" Season 2 would be picked up by the streaming service. However, the network also confirmed that they are not picking "Limitless" Season 2 as they also have other new shows to take care.

The cast of "Limitless" has also gone their separate ways and are now busy with different projects. Indeed, Brian and his FBI pals are moving on from the show and doing something with their careers as "Limitless" may take more time before something happens.

Probably, "Limitless" Season 2 may need more time than it needs just like what happened with "Prison Break." Although "Prison Break" went and have four seasons, but it also got canceled because fans got tired at its last season. Fortunately now, the show will come back and fans are very excited.

This may be the same case for "Limitless" Season 2. While Bradley Cooper and Craig Sweeney and possibly CBS find ways to have the second season back, this may take months or even years to get a network to be interested again.
