NBA Trade Rumors: Three-Team Seven-Player Deal Include Noel, Love, Russell; Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers To Push Through With Plan?

The NBA trade rumors have still not faded as a three-team seven-player deal is reported to take place. This deal involves D'Angelo Russel of Los Angeles Lakers, Nerlens Noel of Philadelphia 76ers, and Kevin Love of Cleveland Cavaliers.

As per the latest reports, Love will be acquired by Los Angeles Lakers along with small forward Dari Saric. Cleveland Cavaliers will then get Noel, point guard Jose Calderon, and shooting guard Lou Williams, while Philadelphia 76ers would be acquiring D'Angelo Russell and Nick Young.

However, the rumors are deemed to be not true since Los Angeles Lakers does not need Love due to the fact that they have Julius Randle and Yi Jianlian. If and when Love will be joining the Los Angeles Lakers and Russell and Young will be moving to the Philadelphia 76ers, the former team would have a weak backcourt, Inquisitr reported.

Cleveland Cavaliers losing Love and acquiring Noel would also be not beneficial. Noel will not fill the void left by Love as he will be placed as the starting center rather than the power forward for the team. Although two more players will be joining Noel from Philadelphia 76ers to Cleveland Cavaliers if the trade is set to happen, this would not help Cleveland Cavaliers in terms of great players as it would only improve the team's depth.

Philadelphia 76ers could also reportedly not afford Noel and Saric since they are great in the frontcourt. Young and Russell coming to Philadelphia 76ers is also not a good idea since the two has a conflict due to the video leaking of the latter player showing the former talking about cheating.

Another issue is that Noel talking trash about Philadelphia 76ers is a hindrance to him being traded. CSN Philly reported that Noel recently expressed that he does not see it working with Philadelphia 76ers since they have a clogged frontcourt. He said, "It's just a logjam. You have three young, talented centers that can play 30-plus minutes a night." Philadelphia 76ers has not yet commented on this and has not announced any plans to improve their roster.
