NBA Latest News: DeMarcus Cousins, Ben McLemore Coming To Portland Trail Blazers Or Boogie Coming To Boston Celtics?

The NBA trade rumors surrounding DeMarcus Cousins has picked up once again after it has been reported that he and Ben McLemore might be traded to Portland Trail Blazers. Other reports are saying, however, that Cousins will be going to Boston Celtics as well as Houston Rockets players James Harden.

Inquisitr reported that a trade deal between Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings has been brewing and it would be about the latter NBA team's center, Cousins, and shooting guard, McLemore, in exchange for the former team's shooting guard, C.J. McCollum, and their center, Mason Plumlee. A 2017 first-round draft pick will also reportedly be given to the Sacramento Kings in order to acquired McLemore and Cousins.

However, this deal might not push through since it goes against the salary cap rules due to the big paycheck of Cousins. Basketball analysts are also saying that neither one of Sacramento Kings nor Portland Trail Blazers will benefit from the trade.

As for Cousins possibly joining Boston Celtics, Metro reported that Danny Ainge of the Boston Celtics wants to take a big step by acquiring a player that is in the level of Al Horford or Isaiah Thomas. Although reports have suggested that Sacramento Kings is not open to trading Cousins, many are saying that he should leave the team since his career is not prospering with the NBA team. If he joins Boston Celtics, he will be able to showcase his talent more while helping the team become a top contender once again.

As for Houston Rockets player, Harden, his name has not been on the trading block as frequent as Cousins' name is but this deal might not push through as Mike D'Antoni made him a full-time point guard for Houston Rockets.
