'Orange Is The New Black' Star Samira Wiley Engaged With Netflix Writer Lauren Morelli

Congratulations are in order for "Orange Is The New Black" star Samira Wiley and Netflix original dramedy series writer, Lauren Morelli! The sweet-smiled Poussey Washington recently said "yes" as the writer proposed Tuesday.

E! News reported that the "Orange Is The New Black" co-workers will be tying the knot anytime soon. Wiley and Morelli announced the big news through Instagram.

The "Orange Is The New Black" fan favorite character and staff writer both posted the snap, with Wiley boasting a sparkler. The "Orange Is The New Black" star captioned it with a rather modest yet meaningful "yes."

Word is that the two started their fling in the set of "Orange Is The New Black." Morelli, at the time, was just fresh out of divorce and had recently came out to be a lesbian. Per Entertainment Weekly, the "Orange Is The New Black" writer had been previously married to television writer, Steve Basilone, for two years.

In an essay penned by the staff writer published by Mic, she revealed that her stint at "Orange Is The New Black" has made her ponder about her sexuality. Soon enough, she realized that she is in love with a woman and admitted that she is gay.

While real life Poussey has found her partner for life--or possibly even partner-in-crime (pun intended)--no one exactly knows how her on-screen "Orange Is The New Black" girlfriend will be doing inside the prison. Brook Soso (Kimiko Glenn) was left devastated after the demise of Poussey, as seen in the season finale of "Orange Is The New Black" Season 4.

Many fans are still dumbfounded with the death of Poussey "Orange Is The New Black." How the inmates' lives will continue in "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5 will be one thing to watch out for when it resumes July next year.

How do you think Poussey's death in "Orange Is The New Black" will affect the lives of the inmates in Litchfield facility? Sound off in the comment section below!
