The Exorcist' Season 1 Episode 2 Recap : Is Casey Really Possessed?

"The Exorcist" Season 1 Episode 2 has brought another scare to the viewers. The premiere of "The Exorcist" brought in 2.9 million viewers as the show introduced the modern day horror story plot. "The Exorcist" cast Alfonso Herrera of Sense 8's Hernando (plays Father Tomas) and Ben Daniels (plays Father Marcus) are teaming up as Chicago deepens its problems against Exorcism.

"The Exorcist" Episode 2 kickstarted with a young Father Marcus facing a man possessed by the devil when he was a kid. As he remembers this, he was on a train heading to Chicago, escaping Saint Aquinas, to see Father Tomas. Meanwhile, Father Tomas was not given permission by the Bishop to practice Exorcism to Angela Rance's daughter, Casey (plays Hannah Kasulka).

"The Exorcist" storyline deepens when Angela Rance (Geena Davis) head to the kitchen of their house late night and found her daughter sitting and talking with a man's voice. Angela has decided to record the situation and sent it to the parish priest, Father Tomas. Unfortunately, the evidence led to Father Tomas explaining to Angela that her daughter needs therapy instead.

Father Marcus heads on to the church and witnessed Casey's behavior first hand when a homeless man came at her and mentions, "He chose you". The homeless man was referring to the devil. Casey's behavior has been uncommon during the end of the premiere and it went on as she discovers her evil power that she executed to one of the girls in her school.


"The Exorcist" second episode is getting more complex as Father Tomas finally joins forces with Father Marcus to execute exorcism in a neighborhood in Chicago. Father Marcus figured out that it's not only the Rance's family facing a problem about the demon. Turns out, a group of vigilantes decided to do a ritual killing that involved getting the hearts straight from the human flesh of the people in the neighborhood.

The second episode of "The Exorcist" is titled Lupus in Fabula. Fox hoped that the fans wouldn't be scared off by the film inspired series, "The Exorcist", reported by Fan Sided. The cast of the thriller-drama series deepens their understanding about the devil that has finally come to the South of Chicago. Episode 3 of "The Exorcist" continues on Friday, 7th of October on Fox, according to IMDB. Now that the devil is in town and talking to Casey and the ritual killings have started, how bad can it be for the whole town of South Chicago?
