'Narcos' Season 3 Spoilers, Release Date and News Update: Pablo Escobar's Downfall Increases the Demand for Cocaine Which Puts the Cali Cartel in the Picture

Netflix's "Narcos" became a huge hit as it managed to leave its viewers with a cliffhanger. Now that "Narcos" already released the second season, which revealed Escobar's downfall, fans are itching to know who could possibly be the next Kingpin.

"Narcos" became one of the biggest international hits for Netflix as it revealed that live story of one of the most dangerous drug Kingpin, Pablo Escobar, who is the leader of the Medellin's Cartel.

"Narcos" season one revealed the story as to how Pablo Escobar managed to build his empire with his family. The season 2, on the other hand, gave fans a full view as to how he was ganged upon which eventually lead to his downfall.

"Narcos" season 3 is already set for 2017 and The Warp mentioned that the series would possibly move forward without some of the original characters. Wagner Moura, who portrayed Pablo Escobar, will no longer be on "Narcos" season 3 as his character already died in season 2. Though Pablo Escobar's infamous Medellin Cartel is over, season 3 is said to move forward with new cartel Kingpins that replaced Pablo Escobar.

"Narcos" season 3 details may not have been totally revealed just yet, but it was revealed that the story will continue to unfold as Pablo Escobar's successor, will be featured in the series. It was already established that the Cali cartel along with Helmer "Pacho" and Gilberto Rodriguez Orejuela will replace Escobar on the next season.

By the end of season 2, "Narcos" became fast paced as fans got a glimpse of the increasing drug trade as the international demands are rising. It was then revealed that the Cali cartel will eventually diminish as Jorge Salcedo with the CIA to take the Cali cartel down.
