NBA Trade Rumors: Milwaukee Bucks And Charlotte Hornets In Trade Talk Involving Greg Monroe?

Greg Monroe is among the regular players in the NBA trade rumor mills. Reports have it that Milwaukee Bucks are desperate to get rid of him. According to the recent NBA buzz, Monroe could be playing for Charlotte Hornets.

Since the offseason kick starts, reports are rife that Greg Monroe and Milwaukee Bucks are parting ways. Bucks are reportedly marketing Monroe but the team has not received any response from the other teams yet.

However, according to HNGN, Milwaukee Bucks are in trade talks with Charlotte Hornet. This triggers the reports that Charlotte could be Monroe's next home court.

Mobile & Apps reported that if Bucks and Hornet push this trade, the former will receive Jeremy Lamb and Spencer Hawes. This trade will be beneficial to Bucks as Lamb is a talented shooting guard while Hawes is a skilled power forward.

But is Milwaukee Bucks really trading Greg Monroe? According to our previous report, yes, Bucks is itching to move Monroe  out of their roster. In fact, there were reports suggesting that Bucks offer a Monroe-Jabari Parker deal just to trade their center and power forward player.

Reports have it that Greg Monroe is the biggest acquisition that Milwaukee Bucks acquired in the NBA 2015 offseason. The majority of the NBA fans expected that Monroe will solidify the team in the playoffs.

Unfortunately, Milwaukee Bucks had a disappointing run last NBA season. From the 6th spot in the Eastern Conference in the NBA 2014-15 season, they dropped to the 12th place in the NBA 2015-16 season.

Many were disappointed with Greg Monroe's performance. In fact, their failure to progress in the playoffs was blamed to his poor performance. On the said season, Monroe only averaged 15.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game.

For this reason, Bucks are placing Greg Monroe on the trading block. Many are convinced that Monroe is not a perfect fit to coach Jason Kidd's run-and-gun system, which could have been the reason for his poor performance.

Do you agree that Greg Monroe performed poorly last season? Do you believe that Monroe is not a perfect fit for Milwaukee Buck's system and that it's better for the team to trade him? Will this trade benefit both teams? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
