New ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Trailer Hints That Maggie Was The One Killed by Negan

With "The Walking Dead" season 7 premiere almost upon us, fans still can't wait to find out who Negan killed at the end of season 6, but with the release of a new trailer for the new season, a couple of hints have pointed out that it was Maggie who took the fall.

Fans of "The Walking Dead" are experts on investigating and finding clues to reveal what might happen next in the series, as a new trailer for the seventh season that showed a scene immediately following the brutal beating that Negan laid on one of Rick's people, a couple of fans have pieced together some evidence to prove that it was indeed Maggie who won't be coming back for the new season.

In the new trailer for "The Walking Dead," Rick threatens to kill Negan for what he did, saying that he will "kill him, not today, not tomorrow, but he will kill him." As he was saying this, it can be seen that the right side of Rick's face has some fresh blood on it, which hints that Rick was beaten by the baseball bat wielding Negan, perhaps injuring Rick's right side. According to BGR, the people to Rick's right were Glenn, Daryl, Rosita, Abraham, Michonne, and Maggie being the closest to him.

Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan in "The Walking Dead", responded to Rick's threat by making a speech about right hand men, and how important they are. Negan might have killed one of Rick's right hand men, and Daryl, Glenn, Michonne, and Maggie all fit that category.

The biggest hint was from a fan who posted a Tweet, with a photo of Rick with Maggie at his side from the new "The Walking Dead" teaser, and pointed out that Maggie was wearing her wedding ring while Negan was selecting his victim. The wedding ring then can be found on the ground in a puddle of fresh blood.

If it were indeed Maggie who died, it would be truly be the devastating intro that the crew of "The Walking Dead" had promised fans. Season 7 of "The Walking Dead" premieres on October 23.
