'Game of Thrones' King Joffrey Baratheon Resurrected! Jack Gleeson Shares Theory On How To Defeat White Walkers

King Joffrey Baratheon knows how the White Walkers will be defeated in "Game of Thrones," or at least the actor who played the character has an idea. Jack Gleeson, who was the wretched king in the show's first four seasons, revealed in a panel that he has a theory that might work in defeating the White Walkers in the series.

During a panel at the New York Comic Con over the weekend, Jack Gleeson revealed that he still has not gotten around to watching "Game of Thrones" despite starring in it. Unlike the show's loyal fans, the actor who played one of TV's most hated character, has avoided watching productions he's part of. Thus, he is not aware about what really goes on in the series. He's basically clueless about "Game of Thrones."

But even with little knowledge about that show that made him popular, Jack Gleeson shares a theory that could actually make sense in "Game of Thrones." He said that a friend shared this idea to him one time and thinks it's actually pretty cool.

"Someone's going to melt down the Iron Throne because it has the Valyrian steel that will overcome the White Walkers," the actor said of the hypothesis, according to MTV. It should be pointed out that with all the factions in "Game of Thrones," it is actually the White Walkers that pose the most danger. Regardless of who sits as the ruler, the supernatural army would be very hard to defeat if there is no powerful force against it.

Time notes that Jack Gleeson's "Game of Thrones" theory might actually make sense because Valyrian steel is a rare but well-known element that can kill White Walkers. Perhaps, Daenerys could melt the Iron Throne with her dragons' fire, which could also lend a nice symbolic end to the Targaryen dynasty.

Jack Gleeson's "Game of Thrones" character, King Joffrey Baratheon, was killed off with poison during his wedding banquet in "Game of Thrones" Season 4. The move was orchestrated by Lady Olenna Tyrell, the grandmother of King Joffrey's bride, Margaery.

For the actor, he has no idea who has already died or left the show. "In my mind, all these characters are still alive," he told the panel. "Maybe I should get into it. I hear it's good," the "Game of Thrones" villain joked. Watch Jack Gleeson's final scenes in the series in the video below.
