Netflix's 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events' Secret Website Revealed! ASOUE Mysteries & Puzzles To Be Released Ahead Of Premiere

Netflix's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" has unleashed a secret website. This was actually hinted when the show's first teaser with Patrick Warburton was released on Tuesday, Oct. 6. ASOUE creator and author Daniel Handler, who is the show's executive producer, even clued fans about this in a veiled announcement online recently.

Daniel Handler wrote, "Please look no further into the matter of the Very Flammable Dandelions," on his Twitter on the same day that the first teaser to "A Series of Unfortunate Events" launched online. Fans also noticed that Patrick Burton, who plays Lemony Snicket in the Netflix adaptation of the show, was strategically standing by a box that was marked "Very Flammable Dandelions."

To fans of "A Series of Unfortunate Events" book series, "Very Flammable Dandelions" or VFD stands for something important to the story. It's supposed to be an organization that carries out humanitarian work on the outside. However, the group has secret activities and its members communicate in codes and disguises discreetly.

Digging further, a website VeryFlammableDandelions.com has apparently gone live. At this point, the secret site to "A Series of Unfortunate Events" only contains a beautiful concept art of the Netflix show. But fans expect that the streaming platform will be filling it with more mysteries, puzzles and secret messages, which will go in line with the VFD secret society.

Fans might remember that when Neil Patrick Harris talked about "A Series of Unfortunate Events" on "Live! With Kelly," he said that Netflix has a grand plan for the show, per Parent Herald. The statement makes a lot of sense now that this website has been revealed.

Netflix will release the whole first season of "A Series of Unfortunate Events" on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017. In the meantime, keep checking the secret site for more clues or Parent Herald for the updates.
