‘Rise Of The Tomb Raider' PS4: Why The Classic PS1 Case 20 Year Anniversary Edition Is Worth Getting

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" was recently released for the Playstation 4, and along with it was the game's 20th year anniversary pack, "Rise Of The Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration." The latest chapter in the "Tomb Raider" series is definitely a must have for all consoles.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" was released late in 2015 in November for the Xbox One, and was met with great response from fans and critics alike. The action-adventure hit was later released in January of 2016 for the PC, and was released just days ago on October 11 for the Playstation 4.

The special "Rise Of The Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration" edition includes the original "Rise of the Tomb Raider" game, a new story content called "Blood Ties," virtual reality support for the Playstation VR, new multiplayer co-op for the endurance mode, the "Extreme Survivor" difficulty for the campaign, the exclusive 20 year celebration outfit and gun, and 5 new skins for Lara Croft, on top of all of the content on the original version, along with the two DLCs, namely "Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch", and "Cold Darkness Awakened," according to the Square Enix online store.

"Rise Of The Tomb Raider" is already one of the most critically acclaimed games of the year, winning over 75 awards, including the Writers Guild of America Award for Achievement in Videogame Writing. Numerous gaming sites also gave the "Rise Of The Tomb Raider" plenty of praise, such as IGN calling the the sequel to 2013's "Tomb Raider" a "complete and amazing" package, and giving the game a near perfect score of 9.3/10.

"Rise Of The Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration" adds more content to the already loaded, action packed game, and adds the Playstation VR that fans had been waiting for, plus the physical copy of the 20th anniversary edition also comes in "Tomb Raider" themed Playstation 1case.
