MacBook Pro 2016 To Come On October 26; Latest Features Include Secondary Touchscreen Display and The Upcoming Magic Keyboard

Consumers have greatly been anticipating the release of the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 as it has been more than 16 months since an update was given with the laptop. With October here, rumors have continually circulated that the MacBook Pro 2016 is ready for launch on October 26.

Apple has confirmed that the tech giant is going to have a press conference on October 26 where it is expected that its updated Mac products will be introduced. BGR reported that it is possible that the star of the event would be the MacBook Pro 2016.

It has been over a year since the MacBook Pro was given a major update and consumers have been greatly anticipating when the upcoming laptop would come. Reports have also suggested and according to a Reddit user named "Foxconninsider" that the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 would have a special secondary touchscreen display above the standard keyboard.

The report is mostly new since the common specs given for the MacBook Pro 2016 includes the OLED screen, thinner laptop, USB-C ports, macOS Sierra and Touch ID support. The job of the secondary touchscreen display will provide different morphing function keys.

The Reddit user also claimed that the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 would include a surprise for most consumers although it won't be unveiled together with the MacBook.

According to Foxconninsider, Apple is creating a prototype Magic Keyboard that will completely change the way consumers use their MacBook Pros and iMacs. He also claims that Apple is in the process of acquiring the startup Sonder keyboard which could make the new generation Magic Keyboard a reality.

While, Apple has not confirmed reports regarding the release of the MacBook Pro 2016 during the final week of October. It is still greatly predicted that the upcoming MacBook Pro would come on Q4 since they might lose their target market as the Kaby Lake processors are coming next year unless the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 would come with one instead of Skylake processors.
