Mariah Carey, James Packer Visit Israel for a Pre-Engagement 'Spiritual Meeting'

The romance between pop star Maria Carey and her Australian billionaire boyfriend, James Packer has leveled up. The two who just enjoyed their trip in Capri with Carey's children are reportedly in Israel to meet a spiritual leader for a pre-engagement spiritual meeting.

According to News.com.au, the celebrity website says the couple flew to the Middle East from Europe via Packer's private jet.

The religious teacher who the couple met up with remained unnamed but TMZ revealed that James knows the spiritual advisor well. The business tycoon believed that asking the blessing of the said guru is necessary before proposing to his girlfriend.

One source tells TMZ that when the said meeting takes place, the ball will roll quickly and the couple will get married soon.

Packer and Carey are said to also visit Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Dead Sea, Israel National News reports.

However, in a report from Mail Online, the 45-year-old singer arrived in Tel Aviv, Israel without Packer. The mom of two looked gorgeous in her low-cut print dress. She left her hair loose and wavy as she greeted the huge crowd of fans. The singer stopped to sign autographs and take photos with her fans. Carey was seen carrying a teddy bear handed to her by one of her devoted fans. There was no sign of Packer.

In another report from TMZ, the couple is just dating for a couple of days, but is already discussing about marriage. Mariah's sources think that it is too early for the lovers to consider marriage, but Packer is determined to marry the singer and Mariah is open to it.

Some sources disagreed with this, one insider denied that the pair is considering an engagement, Mail Online has learned.

 "They are not talking marriage," the source said.  "That's ridiculous. She's enjoying his company, but she's also trying to remain cautious."

Packer is obsessed with Mariah and her music even if he just met her for a month and a half ago when he watched her show in Las Vegas, TMZ reports. The businessman tried all he  can to date the famous singer. He invited Mariah and her kids to his yacht, threw parties for her and blasted her music for his friends to hear.

The diva is enjoying Packer's attention and is enjoying the courtship process with her new lover, which is very different when her ex-husband,  Nick Cannon was wooing her. "To her, Nick [Cannon] was a boy. James is a man. This trip is a chance for her to really get to know him. She hasn't 100 percent let him in yet, " Mail Online has learned.

Carey and Packer met in Aspen, Colorado. They were introduced to each other by Packer's business partner in the US film financing company RatPac Entertainment, video director producer Brett Ratner, who was also romatically linked to the singer.
