MacBook Pro 2017 Specs & Release Date: MacBook Airs Named 13 inch Retina & 15 inch Retina MacBook Pros?

Retina MacBook Pro 2017 is the most anticipated flagship device for the upcoming year. The Retina MacBook Pro 2017 is originally known as MacBook Air, which will come with a Retina display.

Retina MacBook Pro 2017 would be having a completely revamped 13-inch and 15-inch screen as per the KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and Apple Insider. Kuo claimed that Apple is planning on launching a 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro to sit alongside the 12-inch MacBook Air, which would serve as a replacement to the MacBook Air going forward. The devices were expected to launch in March, 2017. Retina MacBook Pros 2017 are said to have thinner and lighter body with shallower curves around the edges, a wider pressure-sensitive trackpad, and a flatter keyboard.

MacBook Air released on March 9, 2015 offered improved specifications, including a Broadwell processor, improved Intel graphics, a "Force Touch" trackpad, faster flash storage, and improved battery life. The 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro will have Intel 28-watt U-Series chips with high-powered integrated graphics that would be suitable for the first quarter of 2017.

MacBook Air released on March 19, 2015 incorporated Force Touch trackpad, faster flash storage and graphics, and longer battery life. According to leaked MacRumors, Apple may use Kaby Lake chips in 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro to integrate high-end integrated graphics.

The new 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro replacing the MacBook Air might cost $ 1035. It is rumored that Apple might keep the prices down of both Retina MacBook Pros. It is also expected to have USB Type-C across the range, especially Intel Thunderbolt 3 into USB-C.

The next-generation Retina MacBook Pros are likely to launch in March, 2017. Although, the 13-inch and 15-inch Retina MacBook Pros were said to be released in October there is no news on the same. Hence, waiting for next year would be smart as the previous MacBook Airs released in March. Stay tuned for more updates.
