‘Rick And Morty' Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers & News Update: Why Rick Sanchez, Morty Smith Will Not Be Revealing THAT Secret In S3

"Rick And Morty" Season 3, by Adult Swim with creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, is a fertile playground for secrets revelations. Word says mad scientist Rick Sanchez and grandson Morty Smith are up for more suspense come "Rick And Morty" Season 3, but is S3 the big reveal?

Fans of the Adult Swim series were treated to a more united front for Rick Sanchez and his grandchildren Summer and Morty Smith. By "Rick And Morty Season 2" fans have become used to the sight of Rick Sanchez plotting and dimension hopping with Morty Smith or Summer or both.

Happily, family issues were incrementally ironed out, not only for Rick and Morty along with Summer. More especially Beth Sanchez and Jerry Smith may have s stronger understanding of each other in "Rick And Morty" Season 3.

The mill bets that divorce is coming for Beth Sanches and Jerry Smith. However, "Rick And Morty" Season 3 does not seem to be when it does.

The question, however, is whether or not the "Rick And Morty" series has gained enough mileage for Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland to want to make big revelations. A number of fans of the Adult Swim series believe that Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland embedded an underlying secret into "Rick And Morty."

The truth, though, is that Justin Roiland, Dan Harmon and the writing team of "Rick And Morty" never did get around to developing this secret. Although they thought about it, they never did anything about integrating the planned "Rick And Morty" mystery.

In an interview with AV Club, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland teased that "Rick And Morty" was meant to be built in with one big secret that only they know. The plan was for "Rick And Morty" plots to develop out of this underlying secret. However Dan Harmon,Justin Roiland and the "Rick And Morty" team eventually did not put the secret in place.

Interestingly, the planned major "Rick And Morty" secret (that was never to be revealed and which was never put in place) eventually surfaced in a fan theory. Justin Roiland did say that while they were writing the episodes of "Rick And Morty" Season 1, they did consider the possibility that the secret may be true.

Even without this "Rick And Morty" secret, the Adult Swim series is still expected to twist, turn and birth a myriad of other possibilities. Adult Swim is expected to return with "Rick And Morty" Season 3 in December 2016.
