Twitter Sale Update: Social Media Network To Shut Down By 2017?

The end is near for Twitter as the social media network will soon bid their user's goodbye. Countless rumors flooded the headlines about Twitter ending by 2017, and the twitter community is worried as to whether the rumors are true of not.

The Twitter sale is imminent by the end of their third quarter earnings. Sources reveal that Twitter chief executive, Jack Dorsey is said to do his best to provide clarity to the company's shareholders and Twitter's employees. Dorsey is said to secure the company's people as they have overlooked the future for Twitter, which seems gloomy to date.

Twitter is said to have potential acquirers which include Google parent Alphabet Inc., Walt Disney, and Salesforce.com Inc. The sources then added that it is still uncertain if it will be a successful sale. The sources told Business Insider to conceal their identity as the information they gave out is confidential.

As the sale is still uncertain, both Twitter and salesforce kept their mum in regards to the issue. It was then mentioned that if ever Salesforce will take on Twitter, the social media site will be more focused on customer service, communications, and a more serious aspect.

BI then added that if Google will be the one to acquire the site, it will be more focused on news and social media updates. It was mentioned that Twitter continually struggles to come up with revenue that can grow and profit despite having a high volume of users.

Twitter consecutively failed its stats which resulted to the social media site to eventually go down. Twitter is subjected to rumors that it will be closing since 2015 as per BBC. Speculations of Twitter closing in 2015 was fired by BradTheLadLong, but it was eventually slammed as YouTuber is known for creating satirical claims and rumors.
