Zoella Turned Down Prince Harry; YoutTuber Regrets The Turndown?

Popular YouTuber Zoella, or Zoe Sug, almost had what everyone else wanted: a date with a royalty. Yup, almost. Zoella almost went out with Prince Harry.

Zoella had been invited by none other than Prince Harry himself for a tea in the Buckingham Palace, according to the Revelist. The YouTuber regrets not having tea with the prince but the latter would not mid because the YouTuber had been suffering from anxiety.

She said she got scared because she was not ready as she was still working on what was happening with her during the time. Zoella apologized to Prince Harry for the turn down.

Fans were unintentionally crowding her that she got "pressed up against a car, which caused a backache and anxiety," Zoella recalled. The incident happened at the Radio 1 Teen Awards in 2014.

Zoe also revealed that at one point she was afraid to leave the house without her boyfriend, Alfie Deyes. She also recalled how random people would say "Hi" to her and she would swear because she got surprised.

Alfie Deyes is also a YouTuber and his channel is Pointless Blog. He is also an author and has collaborated with other YouTubers.

Zoella had been battling from anxiety since her teens, which she revealed in one of her videos in 2012, according to Cosmopolitan UK. "I have a therapist who I speak to every week without fail," said Zoella.

Zoella said it has been helpful because she can now do things she normally can't do. The video, titled: "Dealing With Panic Attacks & Anxiety," has had 4 million views already.

Zoella is on the November issue of the Cosmopolitan. She revealed details about her anxiety and what effects it brought on her.
