Kate Middleton On Keeping Children’s Mental Health As She Remembers Her Intelligent Grandmother’s Role In WWII Code Cracking

It must be Kate Middleton's inspiration, looking back to her grandmother's background. Middleton is proud to tell about her grandmother's role in the Second World War (WWII) in the code cracking arena.

The Duchess of Cambridge opened up in her GCHQ foreword that her grandmother, Valerie Glassborow, worked at Bletchley Park during the WWII and served with thousands of other young women who were all part of the great Allied effort that pursued breaking enemy codes. The foreword was in the Puzzle book in connection to the "Heads Together Campaign" led by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. This campaign focuses on the awareness of mental health issues.

In connection with the mental health campaign, Middleton wanted to emphasize having a stress-free life as a parent. Her grandmother and mother have both given her great examples that are reflected on how she does parenting for her own family.

Middleton also fights for the mental health of kids where she emphasizes on the effect of embarrassment and shame on children. As the mother of newborn Princess Charlotte and 2-year-old toddler Prince George, Middleton apparently understands parents who are very protective with children, although fearing the societal consequences or lack of financial support, EOnline reported early this year.

Kate's being a parent is recognized not just in the UK but also around the world. It can be recalled that she and Prince William are said to be influencing parents in the next decades, according to a study in 2013.

Duches Kate as a mom wants to be hands-on with the kids. Apparently, although Kate needs to maintain her beauty and figure, she spends more time taking care of the kids more than herself, according to DailyMail.

The Duchess' integrity towards protecting kids remains through her testimony about being a good parent. She owed this to her mom and grandmother, too, especially as keeping children's mental health does not just involve being a loving parent but also being an intelligent parent at the same time.
