‘Criminal Minds’ Season 12 Air Date, Spoilers: Former Interpol Agent Emily Prentiss Leads BAU For Good? Episode 4 Air Date Moved

"Criminal Minds" Season 12 Episode 4 is expected to follow the Behavioral Analysis Unit in their mission to stop a serial killer in Virginia. However, CBS has not released more details about the upcoming episode titled "Keeper." Additionally, the fourth episode of "Criminal Minds" Season 12 is set to be moved to Oct. 26 to give way for the final presidential debate.

The next episode of "Criminal Minds" Season 12 is suggested to focus on the comeback of Agent Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) as she takes over the BAU team, Cartermatt reported. With Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) being out, fans reportedly speculate that it will be Agent Prentiss who will lead the BAU team for good. Agent Prentiss, however, has been with the Interpol for four years so she may need some adjusting as well.

"Criminal Minds" actress Brewster revealed that her character has learned a lot from being an Interpol agent from years. In an interview with CBS News, Brewster said, "So far, they've made Prentiss powerful and good at the job and invested." Does this mean that fans will see a bolder Agent Prentiss to lead the BAU team in the upcoming episodes of "Criminal Minds" Season 12?

Meanwhile, "Criminal Minds" Executive Producer Erica Messer said that Brewster was only asked to do six episodes for the current season of the series. The plan, however, apparently changed after the "Criminal Minds" team saw how her character has been missed. That said, Brewster has signed on to be a series regular for "Criminal Minds" Season 12.

To recall, Agent Prentiss already appeared in the previous episode of "Criminal Minds" where she helped the BAU team solve the case of missing single mothers. In the said episode, Agent Prentiss was not so impressive for Luke Alvez (Adam Rodriguez). However, Agent Prentiss is expected to prove her skills in the next episodes of "Criminal Minds."

"Criminal Minds" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. What do you think of Brewster's return on "Criminal Minds?" Let us know in the comment section after checking out the promo of the next episode of "Criminal Minds" below.
