'Wolverine' Star Hugh Jackman Banned From Working With Angelina Jolie, Says Wife

Making a marriage work definitely requires not only love from both spouses but also trust and respect for each other. Hollywood marital unions are no different as issues of fidelity often arise especially when an A-list husband or wife is paired with other people to spark onscreen romance geared at captivating the audience. With the nature of the industry, it is a common occurrence for one's partner to be kissing and hugging someone else.

While Hugh Jackman has been known as the action star "Wolverine" in recent years, the actor earlier played roles opposite Scarlett Johannsson in "Scoop" and Ashley Judd in "Someone Like You." Despite taking part in romantic scenes with beautiful actresses, it appears that the actor's wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, remains unperturbed. In an interview with TODAY, however, Jackman's wife revealed one rule she implemented with regard the leading ladies of her husband - that is, he will never play alongside Angelina Jolie ever.

"I've told his agent he's not allowed to work with Angelina, I'm sure she's lovely," Furness shared with host Lisa Wilkinson. Before anyone could take her revelation seriously though, Jackman's wife clarified, "I'm just kidding."

In connection with the mention of Jolie, Furness disclosed that she and her husband are fans of the works and efforts of Brad Pitt's wife especially in the realm of adoption. In fact, the premise of Jackman and Furness' appearance in the TODAY show stemmed from the couple's desire to raise awareness for Adopt Change which is a group that aspires to shed light on the concerns linked with adoption among Australians nowadays.

"A lot of people don't know that we were always going to adopt. We were going to have one and adopt one," Furness revealed during the talk show. She then revealed that the entire process they went through prompted her to create Adopt Change in an effort to help would-be parents go through the adoption process more smoothly. Furness shared, "The numbers are significant, the amount of kids in the world that need a perfect, loving family."

Furness and Jackman have been married for 19 years, according to People. When asked about the ways they manage to make their marriage work, the two shared that they are fortunate enough to have found each other. Furness said, "That's the deal with this business. If you get it right, if you pick the right partner, then, you traverse all those travails and challenges."
