'Overwatch' Sombra Release Latest Updates Revealed? Blizzard Fans Have New Hacking Trails To Follow?

The hunt for Blizzard "Overwatch" hero Sombra is far from finished. While "Overwatch" fans have been scouring trails of clues, recent developments disproved a recent theory by Blizzard fans.

As previously reported on Parent Herald, the Oct 18 ARG (Augmented Reality Game) countdown ending on the site amomentincrime.com site did show a few relevant "Overwatch" clues. Firstly, a reference to Bastion in the hacking message.

Secondly, the source code of the page indicated (through HTML comments) a string of numbers that align with what looks like a new "Overwatch" patch number. Although the patch number was not - as "Overwatch" fans discovered - the patch of Sombra's release. Instead, it was another "Overwatch" clue.

On Oct 19, "Overwatch" patch 1.4.0.2.32448 was released. No "Overwatch" patch notes were associated with it.

However, sharp-eyed "Overwatch" gamers discussing the ARG on Reddit did notice another in-game clue. Again this was in the "Overwatch" Mexican map Dorado.

When near the monitor in the latter part of the map, "Overwatch" players will hear Bastion beeps from the monitor as seen on this YouTube channel, TrayDoFIN.

When "Overwatch" players translate these beeps into morse code, the clue tells the decrypter to go to "LumériCo." At the LumériCo website "Overwatch" players will see that another cycle of lore and clues begins.

A phone number on the page, when called, gives "Overwatch" players a sequence of digits and a clue to a hidden page to the LumériCo site in Spanish. This hidden page reveals what looks like cyphered gibberish.

However, when "Overwatch" diggers use this against the sequence of numbers from the phone message this takes the viewer to the latest direct message from Sombra in Spanish. Still following?

In this message, Sombra expresses her dissatisfaction with the president of LumériCo. The "Overwatch" hero reveals her aim to bring him down before the power plant opening of Nov. 1.

This is the date when Sombra wants to target him. Sombra also gives "Overwatch" players the username and password to a LumériCo employee account login to on the site.

The account shows numerous emails one of which gives "Overwatch" players a reference to a presidential website bypass. Logging into the LumériCo president's account, amongst the usual collection of emails, "Overwatch" players will discover that from a senior executive is a message from Sombra that only the viewer can see.

Sombra says the "Overwatch" hero is planning to expose the president by sending out incriminating emails in the following week. No doubt something will happen on Nov. 1 (the "Day Of The Dead").

However, it looks like "Overwatch" players still have a few things to discover first. Blizzard's "Overwatch" is available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
