Brad Pitt And Son Maddox Jolie-Pitt Meet For The First Time Since Angelina Jolie Filed For Divorce!

Brad Pitt met with some of his children for the second time earlier this week after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from him and reports have surfaced saying that their eldest son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, has finally agreed to meet with his dad, Brad Pitt. It was reported that the reason behind the divorce of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie was because the actor got verbally and physically abusive against the 15-year-old while in a flight back to Los Angeles from Paris.

E! News reported that it was confirmed the father and son saw each other for the first time in more than a month on Wednesday. A therapist was reportedly present during Brad Pitt and Maddox Jolie-Pitt's meeting. The presence of a therapist has been required by the Los Angeles' Department of Children and Family Services as the investigation into the supposed altercation between Maddox Jolie-Pitt and Brad Pitt that took place.

According to reports, Maddox Jolie-Pitt refused to see his father in the past because he was mad at him and he was not yet ready to face him in person. Sources claimed that Brad Pitt's son stayed with his mother during the time that his siblings saw their father and that he does not consider Pitt as his dad specifically because Angelina Jolie adopted him on her own. Maddox Jolie-Pitt was adopted before Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got together.

Angelina Jolie adopted Maddox Jolie-Pitt from Cambodia on March 10, 2002. He was only seven months old during that time.

The five other children, however, have been present on the last two occasions that Brad Pitt was allowed to see them. Us Weekly also reported that the children underwent therapy before their father could see them. An insider said that Brad Pitt wanted to make sure the meeting would be very productive for their children.

As for Angelina Jolie, the FBI paid a visit to her home in Malibu in order to ask about the private plane incident.
