'The Good Place' Spoilers & Latest News: D'Arcy Carden AKA Janet Teases Series' Second Half Will 'Blow Minds'

The walking encyclopedia of "The Good Place," D'Arcy Carden, spilled the beans on how the second half of the NBC series. The actress, who plays as the soul-less Janet, assured fans that the fantasy sitcom's remaining episodes for Season 1 will blow everyone's minds.

It was a bold move for Eleanor (Kirsten Bell) to say she does not deserve being in "The Good Place." Hidden Remote says that the NBC sitcom ended on Thursday with several shocking twists and a hefty dose of laughs, one of which being Janet's less-serious murder. This, however, has a bearing on the robot's mind, says Carden.

When Janet was killed by Chidi (William Jackson Harper), everything of her memory in "The Good Place" was erased. The 35-year-old actress of "The Good Place" said that that it can make a difference with Janet. However, she did not go down to the specifics of how this changes things for her character.

"There is, but it would be a spoiler to you. How do I gently say this?... Janet has learned something new that she didn't know before," Carden told Entertainment Weekly when asked about Janet's fate in "The Good Place" after she has finished downloading herself again. Clearly, the murder will have an effect on her killers, Chidi and Eleanor, or maybe to the witness of the crime, Jason (Manny Jacinto).

Moreover, the star said that the second half of "The Good Place" would be something that no one could ever expect, even if one is given with a thousand guesses. Carden shared that when the entire "The Good Place" cast sat down with the showrunner, Mike Schur, and explained what will happen in the forthcoming chapters of the series.

Bell, who already knew what would happen, filmed the moment as she knew how much of a big reaction everyone is going to make. Turns out, it really was something unexpected as Carden shared, which the actress did not mention, understandably. What "The Good Place" actress only said is that the second half will be off the rails.
