High Hopes For Minnesota Timberwolves To Join Playoffs: Young Wolves Are Ready To Break 12-Year Drought

After almost a decade-long identity crisis in the Minnesota Timberwolves, the major rebuilding of the roster is finally over with Rookie of the year Karl-Anthony Towns, the Veteran Andrew Wiggins, and Zach LaVine

USA Today Sports reported that Coach Tom Thibodeau has arrived to furnish the Timberwolves a top-flight coach to take over their on-the-job education. Furthermore, they are just plain sick and tired of hearing about the team's 12-year playoff dry spell.

According to CBS Minnesota news, Anthony Towns, Rookie of the year and the First pick draft, said that it bothered him so much. It is something that he doesn't to want to talk and to hear about it anymore. The only thing he is willing to do is to control the outcome every day, work massively hard, and do everything possible that will help his team win and join the playoff series.

The Timberwolves won 29 games last season and had a 13-game improvement from the previous season. The Minnesota Timberwolves will likely need at least 12 more wins in this season to be in the hot seat in the competitive NBA Western Conference. Even though the team's starting three players are 21 year of age or younger, their optimism is remarkably high.
In an interview, Wiggins said that there are a lot of players in the team that has never been in the playoffs. And they have been playing in the Timberwolves’ fang for a long time. These are some underhand card that fans much watch out for in this season.

The first card is that the Veteran Andrew Wiggins will surely backup Anthony Towns' ability to avow himself as an elite big man in the league with his goal to be an All-Star caliber.

Second, the MVP sharpshooter Nemanja Bjelica is back after struggling with injuries and making an adjustment to the NBA game. The Minnesota Timberwolves believes that with this shot, the team’s performance will rise up significantly. And lastly, the fifth pick point guard Kris Dunn will surely make a big role in the team.

The Minnesota Timberwolves opens the regular season on Wednesday in Memphis and posted a photo in their official Twitter account:
