'Clash Of Clans' Update May Include Shipwreck Feature; Rumored To Launch This Halloween Season

A rumor was spreading recently among the "Clash of Clans" community regarding a Halloween-themed update set to arrive in late October. The update was said to contain a feature never before seen throughout the game's history: a shipwreck.

It's getting the "Clash of Clans" community hyped up and guessing about the new feature of the upcoming update. In relation to the rumored "CoC" update, Mobipicker seems to confirm the "CoC" update, and a redittor even got hold of leaked images of the update that was discussed in one of Mobipicker's blog.

The worldwide phenomenon "MMO" "Clash of Clans" has been topping the Android and IOS charts for quite some time already. Introduced in 2012 in IOS and in 2013 for Android, it has gathered quite a following with a rating of 5.6 in Google Play Store by more than 30 million users, making Supercell a top player and developer in the mobile game industry.

For almost 4 years, "Clash of Clans" has kept its followers hooked up by consistently adding new features through regular updates, together with their development team who always provide a quick response to glitches and other technical difficulties experienced by the players.

And finally, the Youtube page of General Tony | Clash of Clans and Clash of Clans Royal, a "Clash of Clans" dedicated channel with 860,000 followers, uploaded an 11-minute video discussing the rumored update.

Update or no update, "Clash of Clans" still is one of the most played game in mobile phones today, making a whooping 2.3 billion USD in revenue and 930 million USD in profit in 2014. That figure alone was due to the growth of the game slowing down.

If the rumors are true, this could pump up Supercell's revenue and profit.
