Pregnancy is a critical stage for a woman as she is extremely hormonal and would undergo different levels of pain, which is why a husband should be extra careful and a bit more understanding in dealing with their pregnant wife. Meanwhile, Health Guidance acknowledged the fact that women may not be able to do most of the household work, and thus husbands should be used to doing mostly the work normally done by wives. These pregnant women would also require extra attention and care so thus these husbands have to start treating their wives like a legitimate queen.

Overall, the best role of the husband is to be the understanding figure of their pregnant wives as women may be irrational at certain times of the month due to the pregnancy. Perhaps, this is the best thing that husbands could do as the pain of bearing the child and childbirth are one of the painful things a woman can experience in her life, and this understanding is a bit of sacrifice to indulge into.
