Angelina Jolie and her husband called it quits last month after the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" actress filed for divorce. Almost a month after Angelina Jolie filled the paper works, the ex-couple is caught up in a nasty custody battle, and Jennifer Aniston took her ex-husband's side in terms of the battle for the Jolie-Pitt kids.

Jennifer Anniston took Brad Pitt's side in regards to their Jolie-Pitt custody battle with the kids. Though Jennifer Anniston and Brad Pitt parted ways in 2005 due to Angelina Jolie, it was reported that the actress stood by her ex-husband's side as she is well aware of how much Brad Pitt loved his kids with Angelina Jolie despite the child abuse allegations that he is facing. A source from In Touch Weekly revealed that Jennifer Aniston took Brad Pitt's side for the custody battle.

"She is firmly on his side in the custody battle," the source tells In Touch Weekly. "She can't help but stick up for him. She knows how much he loves those kids."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went through a rocky patch which eventually ended up in a divorce. Angelina Jolie filed for irreconcilable difference on September 20 of this year.

The couple opted to have their divorce details in private, which lead to infidelity rumors and even child abuse issues with Brad Pitt and their children. The divorce process shook the family as the kids were highly affected as they have to choose sides between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been doing their best to make it easy for the kids, as of this date, Brad Pitt was already to see his kids but with the presence of a family therapist due to the child abuse allegations.

"Angelina Jolie is setting new rules for Brad Pitt, and that includes supervised visits with the couple's six children with a family therapist," a source told CDL as reported in Parent Herald.
